At Cool Impact Farming, we work to protect the natural habitats present on our farms and in their surroundings, aligning our activity with European principles for the conservation of biodiversity, habitats and species.
Some of our farms are located in territories linked to the Cabo Ortegal Geopark, an initiative that highlights the richness of the territory and its geological heritage of international relevance, with high value for understanding the history of the Earth and recognized by UNESCO.
In addition, unique farms such as La Isla represent a special responsibility: a unique river ecosystem where kiwi cultivation coexists with the protection of flora, fauna, water and natural balance.
Protecting natural habitats means producing with respect for the landscape, strengthening biodiversity and building more resilient farms over the long term.
